I think the ending for 'The Chrysalids' was not a very good one as it ended quite abruptly and did not further elaborate on what will happen to the main characters when they are facing a new environment. Also, the book left out some major parts of the other characters and what really happened to them in the end. The ending was kept full of suspense which kept readers on the edges of their seats. However, there were some parts in the last few pages which was certainly very exciting and full of action, which I enjoyed immensely.
